Hi, I am Ellie, an ex-classroom teacher, GCSE examiner, home educating mum of 2.
I have always been passionate about teaching and have 13 years of experience teaching in a school environment and 5 years of tutoring experience. Very early on in my career I noticed that students thrive and progress further and faster when they are given individual time and attention – something that isn’t always possible in large classes in schools. So when the opportunity arose to become a tutor, I made the switch and have never looked back.
I have extensive experience working with students with SEND, in particular ASD and ADHD and love coming up with new and interesting ways to inspire and engage learners.
I love helping my students to discover their true potential, to grasp tricky concepts and to go into their exams bursting with knowledge and confidence.
